Heirloom Hospitality’s Mad Nice Coffee Expands to Somerset Collection This Fall
DETROIT, MI — This fall, Mad Nice Coffee will welcome guests to their Somerset Collection location, showcasing their take on the everyday coffee ritual. Located on Somerset Collection South, second level near the skywalk, the concept is the latest expansion from the acclaimed Midtown Detroit dining destination. Mad Nice Coffee reimagines coffee culture through the lens of craftsmanship and community, with a culinary experience focused on their hand-rolled, sourdough open-faced bagel sandwiches and other delicious eats.
Staying true to Mad Nice’s signature blend of Italian Soul, West Coast Vibes, and Detroit Sauce, Mad Nice Coffee, designed by Tury Design, offers a modern café experience that is as design-forward as it is delicious. Opening daily, thirty minutes prior to the mall’s operating hours, Mad Nice Coffee invites guests to start their day early or unwind in the later afternoon.

At its heart, Mad Nice Coffee is a celebration of everyday rituals. A destination where bold coffee, hand-rolled bagels, and a curated selection of seasonal pastries and salads converge to create an inspiring, on-the-go experience. A few menu highlights include:
- Specialty roasted espresso, coffee and tea drinks: served hot, chilled and frozen, fresh juices, and bottled Italian sodas
- A flavor packed lineup of open-faced, hand-rolled sourdough bagels — from The Bubbe to The Heirloom, each bagel is as delicious as it is good-looking
- A Mad Nice spin on the classic egg breakfast sandwich
- Signature baked goods like the Mad’atozi, vanilla stracciatella cookies, and chocolate dipped sourdough waffles
- Grab and go salads along with seasonal soups, all crafted with an eye toward freshness and quality of ingredients
- Mad Nice’s famous soft-serve vanilla bean gelato with house toppings curated weekly from the Mad Nice pastry team.
