The Junior League Of Detroit Helps Hudson’s Detroit Step Into Its ‘Second Act’
The Junior League of Detroit announces its Second Act Soirée and Fashion Show, an elegant summer evening of fashion, glamour, and gathering, in the new Hudson’s Detroit building on June 20.
The event brings together the best in fashion with a partnership with Somerset Collection. The night allows the JLD to raise charitable funds and will include William Sharples of New York City’s SHoP Architects, one of the principal architects of Hudson’s Building Detroit, and Detroit’s own Rainey Hamilton of HamiltonAnderson and Associates, to share the building’s story.
The night includes a runway fashion show in collaboration with Somerset Collection, an afterglow of music, dancing, desserts, and signature cocktails. HOUR Media is the event’s media sponsor.
Guests can expect “Detroit moments,” as reminders of what makes Detroit unique, including recognition of the achievements of businesses and organizations that have been a part of the city’s landscape for 100 years or more.
