Tiffany & Co. Unveils New Location and Redesign at the Somerset Collection

Today, Tiffany & Co. announces the new location and redesign of its store at The Somerset Collection in Troy, Michigan.

The 4,393-square-foot store, which is located prominently on the main level of The Somerset Collection South, provides a luxurious atmosphere that immerses guests into the world of Tiffany. Each element of the store is designed to be captivating and unexpected, yet inviting and evocative of the brand’s rich heritage as the King of Diamonds.

The façade features a Tiffany Blue® glass feature wall with Wheat Leaf etching and Tiffany’s famous show windows. The store features unique uses of marble, travertine, glass, steel and fluted wood to create a cohesive and elevated feel in an open space. Visual elements including built-in wall showcases, and white marble and fluted mirror case lines highlight exceptional jewelry pieces. A wall inspired by the famous Tiffany Blue Box® along with Wheat Leaf detailing throughout the store juxtapose the traditional with the modern.

To incorporate more interactive elements, this location includes a personalization counter where clients will have the opportunity to experience on-site custom engraving of wedding bands, tags and pendants as well as Home & Accessories items while they wait – making their Tiffany experience a truly personal one. Another design element that is sure to captivate shoppers is the Tiffany Blue Box® wrapping station, where the long-standing ceremony of gift-giving at Tiffany can take place.

Tiffany & Co. has taken an unprecedented step in diamond traceability by sharing the full craftsmanship journey of its newly sourced, individually registered diamonds (0.18 carats or larger). Disclosing the country where each stone is crafted and set in jewelry marks an industry first. This follows the 2019 announcement that Tiffany would become the first global luxury jeweler to provide the provenance (region or countries of origin) of its individually registered diamonds. By taking transparency to a new level and sharing the full craftsmanship journey of its diamonds, Tiffany reinforces the brand’s commitment to ensuring that every step in the journey of its products contributes to the well-being of people and the planet.

A diamond’s region or countries of origin, along with where it was cut and polished, graded and quality assured, as well as set in jewelry, will be shared with Tiffany customers for each newly sourced, individually registered diamond. This information will be available from any sales professional as well as printed on the Tiffany Diamond Certificate.

In celebration of The Somerset Collection opening, an assortment of designs from the latest high jewelry collections and significant engagement ring offering will be on display recognizing Tiffany’s innovative artistry and superlative diamond and colored gemstone legacy. The Somerset Collection will also display the newly launched Tiffany T1 collection, which is a reimagining of the Tiffany T collection celebrating the iconic “T” motif – featured in the brand’s jewelry designs since the 1980s.

The Somerset Collection store relocation and redesign further emphasize Tiffany’s commitment to Michigan. Both Tiffany and the state of Michigan were founded in 1837. Tiffany first opened its store at The Somerset Collection in 1992, which continues to serve as the brand’s exclusive location in Michigan.
